Soil :Clay-limestone
Site :Grapes are exclusively sourced from select vineyards in the Côte de Nuits, from plots of Domaine Chanson and from Terroirs located in the south of the Côte de Beaune.
The Wine
Vintage 2008 :After a beautiful spring, the weather at the start of summer was quite demanding. It became fine again from the end of August with much sun and a cold wind, which aided concentration of flavours. The harvest commenced in mid-September in perfect conditions under an Indian summer.
Tasting :Bright red colour with dark purple nuances. Intense aromas of
red currant and liquorice with a hint of spice.
Concentrated and complex. Refreshing and lively. Very pure fruit aromas. Spicy nuances in the finish.
Food PairingSuper "everyday" Burgundy, ideal with braised and roasted meats, as well as meat-sauced pastas.

Site :Grapes are exclusively sourced from select vineyards in the Côte de Nuits, from plots of Domaine Chanson and from Terroirs located in the south of the Côte de Beaune.
The Wine
Vintage 2007 :The weather at the start of summer was quite demanding. It became fine again from the end of August with much sun and a north wind, which aided concentration of flavours. The harvest commenced in mid-September in perfect conditions under an Indian summer. Careful selection of grapes in the vineyard and winery have produced crunchy red wines with very pure aromas.
Tasting :Bright red colour with dark purple nuances. Intense aromas of
violet and liquorice with a hint of spice.
Concentrated and well-structured. Refreshing and lively. Spicy nuances in the finish.
Food PairingSuper "everyday" Burgundy, ideal with braised and roasted meats, as well as meat-sauced pastas.

Vintage 2006 :The weather at the start of summer was quite demanding. However, the sun appeared at the end of August and continued throughout September. The harvest commenced in mid-September in perfect conditions.
Tasting :Bright red colour with purple nuances. Intense aromas of
raspberry and violets with a hint of pepper.
Concentrated and well-structured. Refreshing, lively and displaying an array of spicy nuances.
Food PairingSuper "everyday" Burgundy, ideal with braised and roasted meats, as well as meat-sauced pastas.

Site :Grapes are exclusively sourced from select vineyards in the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits, including some plots of vineyards of Domaine Chanson.
The Wine
Vintage 2005 :Exceptionnal after a superb growing season - cold winter, rainy spring followed by hot and dry summer. Grapes picked at optimum ripeness and in perfect health, hence a minimum sorting was required.
Tasting :Ruby red with purple tinges. Intense aromas of red berries (red berry) "en confiture" with a hint of spice.
Lively with a well-integrated acidity. Well-balanced, harmonious, generous with well-shaped tannins.
Food PairingSuper "everyday" Burgundy, ideal with braised and roasted meats, as well as meat-sauced pastas.
- Le Bourgogne - Pinot Noir 2004

Site :Grapes are exclusively sourced from select vineyards in the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits, including some plots of vineyards of Domaine Chanson.
The Wine
Vintage 2004 :Harvest took place at the end of september after a cool and humid Summer with short periods of very hot weather. The "tri", sorting of the grapes was drastic to keep only the very ripe and sound berries.
Tasting :Ruby red with purple tinges. Intense aromas of red berries enhanced by spicy nuances. It is lively with fine acidity.
This wine is well-balanced, harmonious, concentrated, with a well-integrated tannin structure.
Food PairingSuper "everyday" Burgundy, ideal with braised and roasted meats, as well as meat-sauced pastas.
