The Wine
Vintage 2006 :The weather at the start of summer was quite demanding. However, the sun appeared at the end of August and continued throughout September. The harvest commenced in mid-September in perfect conditions. Careful selection of grapes in the vineyard and winery have produced beautiful wines with very pure aromas.
Aged in French oak for 12 months.
Tasting :Bright red colour. Very fresh aromas of cherries and liquorice on a hint of vanilla.
Generous, well-balanced. Beautiful texture. Well-integrated tannins. Elegant oak note. Beautiful aftertaste.
Food PairingGame (pheasant), poultry and all the classic cheeses (Epoisses, Langres, Citeaux).

which produces some of the most prestigious wines of the Côte de Nuits.
The Wine
Vintage 2005 :Harvest took place in the early days of September after a dry and very hot summer after a superb growing season - long and cold winter followed by a rainy and humid spring.
Exceptional weather conditions for an exceptional vintage.
Full maturation of the grapes and good concentration.
Aging in oak casks during 15 months.
Tasting :Bright red colour. Aromas of cherry mixed with toffee and liquorice on a hint of vanilla.
Concentrated, generous and dense. Beautiful texture with well shaped tannins and and elegant oak note. Delicious aftertaste.
Food PairingGame (pheasant), poultry and all the classic cheeses (Epoisses, Langres, Citeaux).

which produices some of the most prestigious wines of the Côte de Nuits.
The Wine
Vintage 2002 :The harvest took place at the end of September, several days after the official beginning of the harvest in order to obtain the best possible maturation of the berries. Excellent weather conditions prevailed in August and September and hence the good quality of the grapes. A severe pruning had been carried out in July 2002 to limit yields.
Aging in oak casks during 18 months.
Tasting :Bright ruby colour. Intense aromas of red fruits (redberry, cherry) and tobacco enhanced by a nice hint of vanilla. Well balanced, generous, concentrated, good persistence, depth, good aromatic combination of red fruit with a subtle oak flavour.

Site :Village located between Vougeot and Nuits Saint Georges
which produices some of the most prestigious wines of the Côte de Nuits.
The Wine
Vintage 2001 :Harvest took place at the end of september after a late Summer. It was as a whole homogeneous but the "tri", sorting of the grapes was drastic to keep only the very ripe berries.
Aging in cask during 17 months.
Tasting :Bright ruby colour with purple tinges. Aromas of sherry with a hint of liquorice enhanced by a delicate vanilla note.
Well-structured, well balanced with a well-integrated tannic structure. Good persistence.
