This old property of the Dukes of Burgundy was annexed by King Louis XI of France after the death of Charles the Bold. Chanson owns around 3 ha, i.e. 35% of the total climat appelation. 2/3 of the surface owned by Chanson are planted with Pinot Noir.<br><br><br> <h4>ワイン</h4> <b>品種 2005 :</b>Harvest took place in the early days of September after a dry and very hot summer after a superb growing season - long and cold winter followed by a rainy and humid spring. Exceptional weather conditions for an exceptional vintage. Full maturation of the grapes and good concentration. Aging in cask during 15 months<br><b>テイスティング・ノート :</b>Bright ruby colour. Intense aromas of red fruit (cherry) and liquorice mixed with a hint of chocolate and a delicate vanilla note. Generous, well balanced, concentrated. Outstanding aromatic combination. The &quot;tri&quot;, sorting of the grapes was drastic to keep only the very ripe berries. The combination of strictly controlled yields and a meticulous vinification process played a major part in the quality of the vintage. Aging in casks during 15 months.<br><b>テイスティング・ノート :</b>Bright ruby colour. Intense aromas of red berries and liquorice mixed with a hint of chocolate. Concentrated, well-structured and well-balanced. Outstanding aromatic combination. Well-shaped tannins with no sharp edge. Grapes were extremely well mature with high concentration. Very low yields. Grapes had to be cooled down before pressing. Aging in cask during 12 months.<br><b>テイスティング・ノート :</b>Bright ruby colour. Intense aromas of cooked red fruit (raspberry) and liquorice mixed with a hint of chocolate. Outstanding vanilla note. Ample, generous, well balanced, concentrated. Good aromatic combination. Tannins are present but not too edgy ; Good persistence.<br><b>料理との相性 :</b>To be enjoyed with red meat grilled or en sauce and French cheeses (Epoisses, Citeaux or goat).<br><br><br><br><h3>Clos du Roi Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2002</h3> <h4>畑</h4> <b>品種 : </b>Pinot Noir<br><b>土壌 : </b>Limestone with clay<br><b>立地 :</b>The vineyard of &quot;Clos du Roi&quot; is located below &quot;Les Marconnets&quot; on a fold in the hill. Excellent weather conditions prevailed in August and September and hence the good quality of the grapes. A severe pruning had been carried out in July 2002 to limit yields. Aging in oak casks during 18 months.<br><b>テイスティング・ノート :</b>Bright ruby colour with purple nuances. Intense aromas of red fruit (starwberry), plums and chocolate on a hint of vanilla. Generous, complex, this wine develops an outstanding aromatic combination of fruit. Aging in oak cask during 18 months<br><b>テイスティング・ノート :</b>Bright ruby colour with purple nuances. Intense aromas of red fruit (rapsberry) and violet mixed with vanilla and spicy nuances. This wine is elegant and very fine. It is concentrated and develops a beautiful combination of red fruit enhanced by a delicate oak note. It is well-balanced and generous with elegant tannins.
