Lage : One of the most famous crus of the Beaujolais. The area of production covers the communes of Odenas, Saint-Lager, Quincié, Cercié, Charentay et Saint-Etienne-La-Varenne in the Rhône département.
Der Jahrgang 2004 : Harvest took place at the end of September after a cool and humid Summer with short periods of very hot weather. The "tri", sorting of the grapes was drastic to keep only the very ripe and sound berries.
Verkostung : Bright ruby colour with violet nuances. Very refreshing aromas of red berries (red-currant, raspberry) with a gentle spiciness. Well-balanced, crisp and concentrated. Good aromatic combination on the fruit and good tannic substance.
Servierempfehlung : Cooked pork meat "Charcuterie", barbecue and all sorts of mild cheeses.
