Pernand Vergelesses Chardonnay 2001

Pernand-Vergelesses Chardonnay 2001

Rebsorte : Chardonnay

Boden : Clay and limestone

Lage : In the Northern part of the Côte de Beaune, in the commune of Pernand Vergelesses.

Der Jahrgang 2001 : Harvest took place at the end of September after a late Summer. It was as a whole homogeneous but the "tri", sorting of the grapes was drastic to keep only the very ripe berries.

Verkostung : Pale gold colour. Aromas of fresh fruit mixed with almond on a subtle spiciness. Good grip. Beautiful fruit combination enhanced by an elegant vanilla note. Well-balanced, generous, mellow. Long finish.

Servierempfehlung : Seafood, grilled fish, as well as some goat cheeses.
