Rebsorte : Chardonnay
Boden : Argilo-calcaire
Lage : In the heart of the Mâcon wine growing region, South of Burgundy. The two villages Viré and Clessé form a unique "terroir" on slopes facing Southeast. This is one of the best white wines of the region combining suppleness and minerality.
Der Jahrgang 2003 : An exceptionally early harvest end of August due to an unusual hot summer. Grapes were extremely well mature with high concentration. Very low yields.
Verkostung : Pale gold colour. Floral fragrances with a hint of spice and a subtle mineral note. Well-balanced and well-structured. Beautiful aromatic combination of white flowers. Very refreshing.
Servierempfehlung : Starters, fish, "charcuteries", "Terrines" as well as certain goat cheeses.
