Grape Variety : Pinot Noir
Soil : Clay and limestone from the Jurassic with a soil texture more or less deep depending on the plots.
Site : Grapes are exclusively sourced from selected vineyards in the Côte de Nuits and from Terroirs located in the south of the Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise.
The Vintage 2015 : After a cold winter and a mild spring, the weather conditions in Summer were ideal with cold nights and warm days and enabled a perfect maturation of the grapes. The harvest started early September under a bright sunshine. The red wines develop beautiful aromas of ripe red and black berries with a fleshy texture.
Tasting : Bright red colour. Intense aromas of ripe black cherries mixed with liquorice and spices. Complex and well-crafted. Tight and soft texture and well-integrated tannins. Long and refreshing aftertaste.
Food pairing : Super classic Burgundy, ideal with braised and roasted meats, as well as meat-sauced pastas.
