Site : The area of production is located on the hill of Corton, on a mid slope facing East above the villages of Aloxe Corton and Ladoix Serrigny.
The Vintage 1998 : Harvest took place at the end of September after a late Summer. It was as a whole homogeneous. Aging in cask during 12 months.
Tasting : Bright ruby colour. Intense aromas of cooked red fruit with a hint of spice. Outstanding vanilla note. Ample, well-balanced and well-structured. Good aromatic combination enhanced by a very refined oak note. Elegant tannic structure. Good persistence.
Food pairing : It is perfectly matched with red meat grilled or en sauce and all cheeses, especially the local cheeses like Epoisses or Citeaux.
