Site : In the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, South of Côte de Beaune, the vineyards of Mercurey are mainly planted with Pinot Noir. Located mid slope, facing South-East.
The Vintage 2006 : The weather at the start of summer was quite demanding. However, the sun appeared at the end of August and continued throughout September. The harvest commenced in mid-September in perfect conditions.
Tasting : Beautiful ruby colour with crimsons nuances. Flavours of raspberry, liquorice and spices. Concentrated and well balanced. Beautiful tannic structure with good persistence.
Food pairing : Enjoy with red or white meat, and a wide variety of French cheeses.
