Site : The area of production is located in the commune of Nuits Saint Georges, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. The grapes are sourced from selected plots of vineyard South of the village, at the border of the "Premier Cru" area
The Vintage 2008 : After a beautiful spring, the weather at the start of summer was quite demanding. It became fine again from the end of August with much sun and a cold wind, which aided concentration of flavours. The harvest commenced in mid-September in perfect conditions under an Indian summer. Aging in oak during 15 months.
Tasting : Bright ruby colour. Intense aromas of red berries mixed with liquorice and violet. Subtle note of vanilla. Well-structured and deep. Subtle oak note and well-defined tannins. Generous and refreshing aftertaste.
Food pairing : To be enjoyed with white or red meat, grilled or roasted, games and all sorts of cheeses especially all the cheeses produces in Burgundy (Epoisses, Langres, Citeaux, Ami du Chambertin
