Grape Variety : Chardonnay
Soil : Mix of clay and limestone
Site : On the hill in the heart of Côte Chalonnaise, the "terroirs" of Rully are perfectly suited for Chardonnay.
The Vintage 2009 : After a cold winter and a beautiful spring, the hot summer was interrupted by stormy intervals which fortuitously took place when needed and thus facilitated growth and good maturation of the grapes. Harvest began early September with excellent weather conditions.
Tasting : Pale gold colour. Floral fragrances mixed with exotic fruit (mango) and green almond. Linear and tight and well-balanced. Beautiful aromatic freshness. Long and supple aftertaste with a delicate minerality.
Food pairing : To be enjoyed with charcuterie and poultry as well as many different cheeses (comté, goat cheeses...)
